Alien Vs. Predator

I don\'t see how you can\'t like this film. To each his own, I guess. I thought the action was superb, the effects were superb, and it had a good storyline. I even thought the way the predators were portrayed in this movie was actually better than ever. You have the aliens that lurk in the shadows and then you have the predators that will just beat your @ss, lol. I\'ll be seeing it again, and buying it on DVD when it comes out.

Okay, so here\'s a few reasons I thought the movie was pretty cool.....and by cool I mean dumb as hell

Here\'s something to look for next time you see it. When they\'re on the deck of the boat and the girl is thinking about leaving....they don\'t even look cold. I mean come on, it\'s ANTARCTICA!!! I mean--you can\'t even see their breath! I thought this was the most overlooked part that went on through the whole movie...I mean, if you\'re under 2,000 ft. of ice, you could act cold once in a while.

I also thought that I paid to see Alien vs. Predator.....not Alien vs. Predator vs. strong independant black woman....that was stupid. As soon as she got in the Pred\'s face, he should\'ve gutted her, skinned her and hung her from the damn ceiling...they could\'ve done the last huge fight scene with some cool music and no dialogue, would\'ve kicked ass.

I also didn\'t enjoy that this was a total action movie with no bearing to anything scifi or horror related...just my opinion.

AVP was an amazing film I loved it.The best thing about it is it followed the comic book.

heres kind of a SPOILER that i got an unintended chuckle from...


in the beginning when the woman was climbing the mountain, and just about fell off and was holding on for dear life...she stopped to answer her cell-phone! then the guy was waiting on top of the mountain with a helicpoter, cmon, at least be a little believable...

Could have been better, but how many movies with this much hype actually live up to what we have been waiting for, all in all it was good compared to T3 now that movie was garbage.

Without even seeing the flick I know I want to own it as soon as it hits video. It\'d be a nice companion piece to stick in my shelf between my Alien movies and Predator movies.
I\'ve read the book, and I would suggest you all do as well. It goes into WAY more detail than the movie ever would. I\'m seriously hoping that when it hits video we\'ll be treated to a Director\'s Cut.
