JF2009, color wise, use whatever you'd like. You don't even have to dye a shirt to get the color. In fact, I like the shirt you posted in your p7 thread, that would work just find. You can cut out the areas you want revealed, take some sand paper to the edges, and sand the hell of out it to ruffle it up. I'd suggest using tan dye diluted with water and a spray bottle to weather it, it gives a nice subtle effect.

You said he may need to dye a shirt to his liking, but you did not state that the color of the shirt in the pic was incorrect. I just did not want him to assume it was that color originally.<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndThe author of the thread has NOT asked for clarification of my statement, so your reply to me was unnecessary. Also, I think everyone on earth (including the thread's author) can probably decipher why I would mention "dyeing a shirt" in the context of recreating a big, droopy, permanently-soaking-wet Part 8 Jason costume. What else could I have possibly meant by it?!...Do you naturally expect an object made entirely of pre-dyed cloth to not change color slightly when it gets wet down?Furthermore, the shirt hasn't faded much at ALL since its film use in the late 80s. It's always been very close to its current color, and here is your proof:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n129qArIUZAAnyway, jasonfan2009: Here are some more pictures of the original Part 8 costume. It will only crack on highly stressed areas such as wrists etc, so beware of that on arm pieces. But on the other flat parts like the chest, shoulder, thight etc, it lasts a long time. It is also a lot cheaper than permawet<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndreally? thats great i can get like a huge bottle of mod podge for like $ 7.50 i believe at my local wal-mart

jasonfan, use an underarmor shirt or something similar, its what mine is made out of, I would assum a thermal would be much hotter when wearing, if that is your intended purpose
