Jason Costume

I want to make a cool Jason costume and I need tips on making his clothes look like they\'ve been worn out, dirty and torn. I\'m looking more towards the Todd McFarlane Bloody Jason figure for some reference and maybe F13:7 Jason. I did buy a dark blue long sleeved Dickies work shirt and black Dickies pants. Here is a pic of the figure.

Um......you could hang out at a camp and kill teenagers as they enter an exit? Do it for about 20 years, and you may have it. It wll be tough, you will take a beating, but I believe in you.

First grab an exacto Knife, and rip up what u need to. Dont make clean cuts, u need it as raggedy as can be. And then U can get some Black shoe polish, and rub it around the shirt. Or u can use black spray paint. Its very simple. and then cut small holes in ur pants like the movie. U wouold prolly need to make a latex wound there. U can even go and make ur own arms too! thats what i did. Just p.m me and ill tell u more.

What i do for torn worn clothing is lay them out and slash them w/ a razor or exacto, then rough the cuts w/ sandpaper. Then I run it thru the wash to get the edges ragged and "stringy" then mor snad paper everywhere to rough up the fabric. Then roll and stomp it on comcrete, then the shoepolish or black paint. works pretty good for zombie costumes.

I have always gotten mine really wet, beaten it on a tree then wrap it around my shoe and drag my foot accross pavement. To get a dirty look instead of using shoe polish as it looks too black in my opnion, I dig a hole and bury it for a week or so. Then after it has sat there for a while I take a cookie sheet and put the shirt or pants in the oven on about 100 degrees for about an hour as the heat will kill anything in it. If you put some pine needles in there with the shirt while baking it it will give it a stiff look and feel. But since you are going for the wet look don\'t do that. I have also tied a long strong rope to the shirt and one end to a tree and tossed it in a lake to let the fish and what not nibble at it. Plus it usually gets pretty dirty in the lake.

wow pred, a man after my own heart :-) i say, hey how the hell would this shirt\pant etc get looking like this in real life...... and then i do it if its burned i set the damn thing on fire, if he was burried i burry it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! heheh!!
