Jay\'s comment was pretty out of line, but I think what he was trying to say is that for the prices Paul charges for masks, you cant really expect top of the line, both customers of Paul, and Paul himself know that

However, if you want a nice costume piece or just sumthin to sit a hockey mask on, then Paul is the way to go. In this hobby, you get what you pay for, and seeing as how the question was "who makes the most accurate mask", Jay eliminating a maker becuase of his cheap prices and average joe paintjobs isnt something to get pissy about

But yea, Jay could have worded it better, becuase it did come off pretty rude and like a slap to the face to Paul...its just that I kind of see where hes coming from

c\'mon guys, \"who makes the best mask\" is a stupid question.
The stupid question in question is answered with stupid answers.
and we are now all more stupid after reading this thread.

we all know this is the best J/\SON...

I just wish more people were making RESIN busts of the J-man!! I have two lifesized busts of him atop my tv, but would LOVE to have other versions. I have the VS version, and part 7. Both came unpainted and allowed me to paint them up as gruesomely as I could.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!! I had to just sign in and say that pic of Zyla damn near made me shit!! HAHAHAH! freakin awesome Gary!!
As for the discussion, no one is gonna agree on the best, that\'s why there\'s more then one version and they ALL sell.
And Paul, he does great work, I like his stuff, very much! And very akin to DS, which really, who doesn\'t love DS? They both make amazing and, usually a contridiction, affordable masks. True, you might not get the $250 or $300 paint job, but that\'s not the point, you get WAY more then the asking price worth of detail and work. Every mask they make, get\'s the same care and attention as any other, costs are just kept lower for the buyer. I think that\'s the point Jay was trying to make. In the end, you go with what you like, and what your eye is drawn to.

I don\'t think it was a dumb question. I asked that awhile ago and also got hammered by a friend. It\'s sometimes hard too find out what\'s out there. Jman X is very rare, and so are a few others. It was a very good question, If your just getting into Jman mask collecting.

Ok, I just got home from seeing my family, In P.A...........

To Paul and everyone else that maybe upset with, what I was tring to say.

Someone mentioned Paul, So I just wanted to let him know about Darkside.

About being cheap, That came out the wrong way. I owe Paul an apology, for that. I meant that his prices are cheap, Which is great. I\'m sorry Paul.

Now what I was trying to say was, There great masks for Halloween or dressing up but there not a HIGH END piece like JUstin or Mike. Meaning there not 100+. I was just trying to narrow his searchers down because it seemed, He wanted all high end busts or masks. It came out the wrong way and I\'m sorry.

I think it should be recognized that there are rarities out there that transcend the replica market at the moment. Various part 4 stunt latex masks, part 6 Dummy prop from original molds that are rare but out there...stuff like that....

With these style things though, it\'s far more appropriate to tell someone to get a part 6 undermask from justin rather than hunt down a dummy prop that they might NEVER find.

I like the lists though! Everyone seems pretty on check with everything out there!
