Ever Have A Really Bad Week?

So last week i took an unpaid vacation to go to the shore with my girlfriend and her family. My boss was totally fine with this, told me to have a great time, etc. The day I get back, I get called into his office and laid off. Not enough money to pay me. I knew it was a sinking ship and all, but its a pretty bad time to get canned. Just spent a lot of money on vacation, and it was unpaid. On my way home I get a flat tire. Fantastic.

So there's my story. Ugh. I need a hug.

I'd appreciate it if anyone has been on the fence about buying a hosting package from me to [url="http://forums.nightowlpro.com/index.php?/topic/34019-hosting-deal-for-nightowl-members-and-friends/page__view__findpost__p__325027"]go ahead and do so[/url].

I'm sorry to hear that, Jeff...That's just like a big company to wait until you return from a long vacation before laying you off. I guess they figure it must be the best time to do so without risking a "disgruntled reaction" from the employee. Ugh...

I wish I had a website idea that needed hosting, or could afford to start one. I can ask around to see if any of my friends need a site/board update or new website all together. Until then, I wish you good luck finding a new job, man.

Sorry to hear it brotha. I know it doesn;t make it feel any better, but I'm in a severly screwed situation right now. Things do change eventually, just try to keep that in mind. And hey, a friend and I were tossing around an idea at website, so I will remember you when that time comes.

Man I hate f****** suits. I work for a bank in Cincinnati and they do that crap all the time even when they turn a profit. I see them pay to have the parking lot repaved for two operations centers instead of keeping their staff and stuff like that just pisses you off. I'm sorry to hear that dude. Best of luck to you.
