Before I could pull it out of the box, all I could think about was how horrid I expected the glove to look. I'd imagined a very soft, cheap material (like the rubies gloves) but this is actually a real work glove. I was pretty impressed. The color's just a bit too light. And if you are still a bit worried, you could always just replace the rivets yourself. Trust me, for the price, putting in a little work would be well worth it. While the indie remake gloves out there still rock, for 60-70 bucks, you can NOT beat the Neca version. I'm sure you'd be just as impressed, brotha.

The blades were my other worry. I thought the overall shape looked good in all of the customer reviews, but when it came to the actual edge of the blade, I thought they appeared much too flat. However, after getting mine and looking closely, they do have an edge grinded into each blade, it's just a bit minor. I suppose to still obtain the flat edge and avoid any actual incidents. I may grind mine a TAD bit more to appear sharper, but even if I dont, I will still be very pleased. I could snap some pics of the blades for ya?
