i have some really old posters and at least one is on the verge of falling apart (original friday the 13th). i want to get these glued to poster board so that i can view them and it stops them from ripping. my question is, if i do this does it make the poster less valuable. i am going to have to do it any how to stop the posters from falling apart but was just wondering if any one had any insight into this. thanks.

I would just frame them to be honest . If you have a Meijer or walmart close by , they have some pretty nice frames but are made of plastic instead of wood and glass . But still do the same job and cost much less . That's what I have my autographed posters in

I use ones with the metal frames and plastic/acryl cover.
    Does the trick
They make old and ripped posters look really nice
    Keeps them from falling apart.

Don't waste your time going to Micheals. They only sell up to 27x40 poster frames. That's the size of NEW posters. Old posters like the original Friday the 13th would be 27x41 (and if it's not, it's not an original poster). You can order 27x41 poster frames online, but I have yet to find a store that just carries them
