So it\'s settled then, Hostess conspired in their laboratories under the cover of darkness and evil to created a hybrid the world has never seen, and what started the original zombie outbreak, yes Patient Zero was the first person to try the elusive TWINK BALL! And thus, you have it.

 This made my day!

That settles it for sure, in my book. It\'s a "Sno Ball", no contest.

Not trying to add the the argument but a simple google image search turned up twinkies with red letters on white backgrounds from 08-09. So yeah I think its a twinkie, would be ironinc and a fun little easter egg for fans.

I think you\'re referring to those \'banana Twinkies\'

The packaging still looks a tad different..what we need is a Twinkie expert!

Update!: Ahh, found this blog post from 2009: http://trangsblog.bl...01_archive.html
Look at the pic. Single packs though, but white background..But! It seems that most all packs of Twinkies, with the exception of Banana Twinkies, had the \'Twinkie the Kid\' character on the pack. Not sure what this means..but I really want a golly gee willikers Twinkie right now.

Looking over the interwebs I found several sites discussing this. Apperently they are all over the movie hidden in all the scenes where he is looking for them.

Jeff, I actually eyed a bunch of Twinkies in Food City last night after work because of this thread!! I also found this sweet-hiney "clone" recipe online for homemade Twinkies...People say it tastes exactly like the real thing, so I may have to try it in the next few months:
