Well here I sit as another year comes to an end. I\'m not much for \'going out\' on NY\'s Eve, opting instead to stay home playing fetch with my dog, Romero, have some munchies and watch a movie with my girl... not a bad way to end (and start) the year. I thought I would take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year and offer my best wishes for the coming year. Aside from my every day life, I\'m excited to see what the mask world has in store for 2012. There are a few projects in the works that I am quite excited for and will be watching very closely. I\'ve been reflecting lately about the past year, mask-wise, and thought I would give an honorable mention to some of my highlights:
- finally, after 5 years of talking about it, I added what I considered to be a kick-azz Pt1 Predator bust to my collection!
- I managed to convince an artist to take on a project to replicate what I consider to be one of the most iconic horror icons in film history... see you at the Overlook Hotel!
- attended Monsterpalooza in Burbank, CA... enough said!
- finally, and what I consider to be THE highlight.... having the chance to spend some time with friends I\'ve made since joining the hobby. A week in sunny California with one of my best hobby friends, D-Bach; a BBQ with Vezolution and krazedkilla; a visit to Gotham FX where my man Rich Krusell performs his magic. I consider myself to be very fortunate to have met each and every one of you guys and very much look forward to the next dinner, the next beverage, and the next mask!
Happy New Year you guys!!
