I picked up this great looking 74 version Leatherface mask from Sinister-Studios. It arrived today. Nice detail. All of the face parts are actually stitched together. I am thinking of replacing the string stitching with leather. But it looks killer. Even has the ear flaps. This mask is called Gein-Grene.<!--coloro:#FF0000<span style=\"color:#FF0000\"><!--/coloro<b>DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I MIGHT FIND A REPRODUCTION OF THE '74 LEATHERFACE TIE HE WEARS?</b><!--colorc</span><!--/colorc<img src=\"http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/3483/face4.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/7936/face2p.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/8052/face1y.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

by far the best loking 74 mask i've ever seen . i personally don't care for the mask at all but this one looks really cool and i like the detail they put into it . yeah leather stiching could bring it to life more but the way it looks now still looks killer . nice score <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> mike,

Very nice!I would keep the stitching like it is. It looks close to the original. Not sure if the original had leather or not.Pat

Here is the site with the replica tie. I have one, its perfect. I went with the "medium lavender" myself.<a href=\"http://www.magnoliclothiers.com/-p-274.html\" target=\"_blank\">TCM74 Leatherface Tie</a>Leave the string stitching as is, its correct. The leather was only used on the bottom below the ears to tie the back of the neck to the front.

Very nice score <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> ..... Do you think if you had asked them to use leather that they would have? Anyhow, the mask is one of the best out there. How long did it take you to get it? I personally would just leave it the way it is. Just my opinion. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sleep.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"-_-\" border=\"0\" alt=\"sleep.gif\" />
