Today, we had a scare for real. My 9 year old dog named Bandit had a seizure. I woke up to him kicking the wall and shaking. I freaked out, yelling at him to wake up but he would not. I have never had this happen with him or anything, so i was scared crazy. We took him to the vet and they have ran tests. They want to see him tomorrow for an 8 hour long of more tests. I hope he will be ok.

I hope he is ok. My dog Rascal had diabetes the last several years of his life and would have fainting spells and other problems. so I know what its like to worry and be scared not knowing whats happening and not being able to help. I hopes its nothing serious especially not as bad as diabetes.

Hope things are alright. I had a dog with epilepsy when I was a child. My wife also has epilepsy. Seizures can definitely be a scary thing. Keep us posted. Hope things turn out alright. Hopefully it was just one of those freak of nature happenings that sometimes pop up for no reason at all.

Best of luck. It is not uncommon. I've had two dogs both of which had regular seizures but otherwise lived healthy long lives.

I hope you can find the cause. I had a Golden Retriever who lived through 3 strokes , the first happened at 11 and each time she had seizure like symptoms. The good news is she lived happily to 17. Good luck.
