    Hello,

I am planning on going to a Halloween party dressed as Edward Scissorhands and I really want to make a killer costume that will really wow people, rather than just the store bought stuff many show up in.

I would love to dress up as Edward as this person did - [Image: edward_anon.jpg] - but I am not sure what the material of the actual costume is. Since they don\'t sell it, I will have to make it and I don\'t know how hard it will be, what material to use, and how I get started. So I\'m wondering if anyone can help me out by letting me know if they have any ideas on how to make the black "leather" part of this amazing costume?

    Cheers,
    jf

if i remember right , i read somewhere that the movie used was a pleather like material . i myself have been wanting a "replica if you will" outfit to display but i know it would cost an arm and a leg . funny thing is , i bought the movie just to see Depp in the outfit cuz i think that\'s one of his coolest looks in a movie . good luck on getting a best costume made and if you don\'t mind , could you let me know how it turns out and maybe i can finally get one too .

Yeah even if pleather was not used in the movie it would be the way to go.

Leather suit shouldn\'t be to much of a problem, it\'s the hands that are really hard.
