Check it out. I guess I'm an official Lamson owner now. Nothing special, just the same old 12.5" blade (17.75" overall) version that most folks have. But I'm proud to own one.And now . . . the partial aftermath of what NOT to do with a large kitchen utensil.I cut, well actually stabbed/punctured, the vein in my ring finger on my left hand last night. No, not making hockey masks . . . I was making dinner. I have a half inch puncture wound on the inside fleshy part of my finger that hurts like a sumbitch. My kitchen sink looked like Leatherface had been around. I have never seen so much blood from a wound to a finger. This was just one of many rags and papertowels that sopped up some blood. Another exciting field trip to the ER!!!

Nah, I was using an 8" carving knife. It still did the trick though. LOL! BOX called me right after it happened and I said dude . . . I think I need to get to the emergency room! I had the grill all ready for my burgers too.

Yikes, several years ago I was boning...hurhur chicken with a bloody razor sharp knife and I sliced cleanly through the little artery carrying flesky part between my thumb and forefinger. Good gravy.......blood, blood. and then some more for good luck. Great reference though.Congrats on the knife Richie, thats something Ive always wanted...how much may I ask?>
