I guess I just think copyright infringement is copyright infringement.  No matter how you look at it.  Whether it\'s simple a likeness, or a complete recast.

I just double checked the thread to discover that the recasted mask is indeed from the rubies mask.
A) Rubies mask looks like shit.
B) I don\'t think it could even be considered right to recast a mask that is currently in production.

Not to mention that since this mask will be in stores in the halloween season the only real reason for this guy to be doing this is to make a quick buck off of a companies sculpture before it can even hit the stores.
Theres no real law about recasting, the morality of it is all subjective, but my personal rule is if the mask is made by an independent artist its a complete no go. If the mask is mass produced and no longer in production I don\'t have a problem.
