I am wanting to customize one of my blanks to something similar to a VS battle Hockey Mask, but more my own design. My question is, when you guys do the cuts into the mask, are you just using a dremel engraving or cutting bit and just being careful not to go thru the mask? Any suggestions are appreciated.

depending on the thickness, a dremel is fine to use to make the cuts and slashes...like you said, just be careful not to go to deep and you are fine

Cool, it's what I figured. Dowg made a VS battle Hockey Mask for Rahl that I think is just amazing and I wanted to do one that had some similar cuts in it. I'll post pics when I get going on it.

Hey mate, i use soldering iron with a gound down tip for the more finer detail but a dremil will work fine with the right attatchments, just remember to take your time <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Tongue\" border=\"0\" alt=\"tongue.gif\" /> Best thing about a soldering iron is that if you do go through the mask you can melt the platic back over in the grove to repair it <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> Email me if you need anymore help.
