I have a question about shaping a Hockey Mask that I have. It is an already painted part 3 horror concepts Hockey Mask that I want to make the top narrower. I have shaped hockey masks before but my question is if I heat it up will it damage the paintjob? Thanks.

I\'ve never successfulyl done it, because I have been warned countless times that heating up a painted Hockey Mask would damage the paint job.

Not sure if it\'s true, but I\'ve been warned a number of times....

blow dry the inside part that you want shape and the areas around it. then use a towel to cover your hands then bend it carefull.... heres my old HC part 3 i reshaped.

I\'ve used a heat gun on my hockey masks before. Just gotta be really careful not to melt the plastic. A few passes over the Hockey Mask (try the back first) about 6 inches away and you\'ll feel the Hockey Mask start to become pliable enough to shape. Do it near a sink so when you get the shape you want you can hit it with some cold water to help set it.

D-bach\'s blow dryer idea may be a little better as it\'s not as hot as a heat gun.

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up using a heat gun and the final product is fantastic!
