Well, let me start by posting my old auction.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMESO%3AIT&rd=1

Now, here is an email I just got from him....

"I received the mask this morning, but on seeing it my heart sank a mile.. as to me it does not even resemble a 1975 captain kirk mask! The eyebrows should be part of the face as a moulding, made from latex not hair stuck on. Also detail on the forehead is absent. You did say that there wasn\'t any difference between this and an original one, i have 30 photos of an original 75 kirk mask so i can pick up on detail, below is two of the 30 photos. Could you give me an explanation please."

Here are the two photos he sent with the email...

Now, what do you guys think. I think this guy MAY cause some probs for me...

Hey bud,

You CLEARLY stated what mask you were selling. A Stardate 78 Captain Kirk mask REPLICA. You even stated the number 1/20#.

You posted bright, clear pictures and described the mask well.

I think the guy is causing you these problems for one of the following reasons:

1. It\'s too small for him to wear, so he\'s trying for a refund.

2. He\'s spent more than he could really afford, so he\'s trying to get his money back

3. He\'s a typical ebay fliggleworm, who enjoys wasting peoples time.

You are not in the wrong atall, and i know you are a trustworthy and reliable seller. Don\'t budge on this, he\'s the one with the problem. Not you.

-Steve.

Where exactly? I can\'t read that anywhere in your add.

I think this buyer has lost it.

He emailed me a day after he won the auction asking how close this resembled a 75 and what difference there was. I replied, basically, with what was in auction. Just added my opinion to my reply to him... That IMHO there is not much of a difference in the two. I told him that the SD78 was based from a clay press of a 75. That it was...is... the closest mask floating around to a 75...

Found my reply...

Not much of a diff at all. The stardate 78 is a claypress of an actuall 75 Kirk which makes it THE best replica of a 75 out there right now.
Take Care,

Ray
