this thread is pointless..real people know the truth some people wanna act all big like they know everything and people believe stuff jsut cause of who they are..bottom line real people know the truth and its up to one to not listen to one person but rather a large group so when one says this and many other actors and fx artist say the opposite well u listen to the majoritybut jason mask are cool and look swell and are neat to make so who cares..im not gonna let one person discredit other people

Since the other thread has been usurped by this one I'll throw this out here from my post in the other thread:I know at one point someone involved with the production of part 3 stated that the triangles were not painted, that they were in fact a red plastic sheeting used in stage lights to change the white light thrown by them red. This is going back 3-5 years ago. IIRC, it may have been Gerald Feil (3-D Cinematogrpher) when he was poking his head around the F13 fan boards back in 2003

Latex paint can definitely behave like tape....But i\'d tend to think it was a sticker as well.

i dont think its sanded down its the adhesive that makes the paint stay so white. the mask does get dirty
