"The Exorcist" is one you need to sit and watch from the beginning to end...slowly builds up and never slows down......I own over 500 horror dvds so I can honestly say there aint any I haven't seen........................................Larry

Great topic! For all of you who need to see Halloween 3, go grab a copy and give it a chance. Pretend the \"Halloween\" part isn\'t even attached to it... I used to hate it because it wasn\'t a \"true\" Halloween flick (even though Carpenter\'s original intention was to do a different story with each Halloween movie), but I gained an appreciation for it as I got older. It\'s classic Carpenter and c\'mon, it\'s got Tom Atkins!!I say the same for Night of the Living Dead (well, except the Tom Atkins part <img src=\"http://forums.nightowlpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />)...go see it now and think of it as a zombie history lesson.Ok, on to the movies I still need to see:Hills Have Eyes (original) - I have the DVD, just need to actually watch itKiller Klowns From Outer SpaceC.H.U.D.TCM 2Land of the DeadI\'m sure there are some more in there but those stick out in my mind as films I really want to see that everyone else has seen.

I have not seen many of the new wave of horror that has come out in the past few years IE Saw 2, Saw 3, Ring, Ring 2, The Omen Remake. Not a big fan of remakes or horror past the mid 90sMatt

I LOVED the hills have eyes remake...still havent seen the original...Havent seen any Phantasm yet, nor the original nosferatu or phantom movies. I am dying to see those.Fang, trust me, you will be amazed with DOTD Original! I saw it recently (haha so i dont have to put it in this thread lol). And it was great! Amazingly better than the remake. All the romero flick's were awesome.....so good infact i think out of the 7 year's i had the vhs tape's only day of the dead will work now lol.I watched them that much.I was 10 when i saw my first zombie flick ever and it was in theater.....it was night of the living dead 1990 savini remake which is my all time fav movie.Been hooked since.
