I\'d rather not spoil the theater experience by watching a not up-to-par copy on my pc beforehand. I think I can hold out til Friday...it\'s only 3 days.

I'm sure I'll see but with no real expectations. Face it folks....he's remaking perhaps the most beloved horror movie of the last 30 years. So far remakes are all Robs done. I consider, and so do a lot of others, that "Corpses" was his TCM remake, "Rejects" was his TCM2 remake and now the remake of "Halloween". There are only a handful of remakes that exceed the originals...not easy at all to tinker with a classic and score.....................................Larry

the first 20 minutes with young michael were interesting, not too bad. After that zombie just tries to recreate classic scenes and it blows basically.I feel that if they had a non halloween related film focused on a character like young michael then it might actually be worth watching.

I went to a friends house lastnight and saw it also. I really did have high hopes for this movie. But as I watched more I got more disappointed with Rob Zombies take on it. Awhile back before there ever was talk about a remake. I was on another board the subject was movies that should never be remade. Halloween was my first choice so was many other board members. I feel this move should of never been made. It took Carpenters creation and destroyed it. This movie would of been great if we never would of had Carpenters blueprint to go off of If Myers never existed and this was the first we saw of him This movie would of rocked. This is an OK movie but not great like the original. The original is perfect never should of been touched Just my 2 cents
