Just Got Back From Halloween

I liked it alot actually i felt that Zombies take on the series was a diff take than carpenters i like his style of directing..i love the shacky cam espc when (spoiler) he is slamming grizzly against the bathroom stall it jus shows how pure powerfull michael actually is..Sheri i thought did a good job everyone says she cant act but i really think its her voice that makes everyone think like that i saw the workprint and this one but i mean zombie did a fantastic job i mean you cant beat the orginal but this one sure did try i liked it and will buy it on dvd

I\'ve just seen the working print, and didn\'t hate it, the front half with young Michael was great, Daeg was fantastic, creepy as hell. But once grown up, it was quite a let down. Tyler Mane was miscast, Michael IS NOT Jason, that just ruined it. I don\'t think I\'ll bother going to the theaters after all the changes I\'ve heard. You can add me into to nice try but no cigar group too.

just got back and i think its good but its not ask great as the FVSJ and Chainsaw but overall the movie is tight just bad acting kinda kills its.. cool movie but I most likely wont see it againit felt more like an installment rather than a remake.....not to mention it only took Zombie seconds to drop an F bomb when the movie started

i like when Mikey was a kid more so, but he looked like kane from wwf before he masked up...and I dont like the fact that mikey was a supermyers! But other than that i liked the movie

I went in to see it with very low expectations..... That worked because I came out liking it.Of course it doesn't hold a candle to the original, but there were some things I liked...Although the move was completely a Zombie movie....he did shoot some shots as a homage to the original that I thought were very faithful. Couldn't under stand when lil' Myers had time to bury the mask in the basement under all those floorboards after the murders. Ken Foree getting manhandled was impressive. And William Forsythe was awesome!

The best thing about this movie was that Busta Rhymes was not in it. Nuff Said!

Seen the theatrical today and it wasn't much better than the workprint. The escape scene and ending were better but, that's it. Still horrible writing leads to bad acting. As far as the chics in the film Hanna Hall had the best body and she has a butterface. Miss Harris I'm not impressed. I would have rather her with her top on and keep people wondering what they look like. Maybe I'm just an old bitter married man. I'm sure it will help sale tickets though. I did love the clean version of the mask. I would buy one in a heart beat. As long as it was done right of course. Would have been an Ok slasher if the Halloween franchise was never created. It sure makes you love and appreciate the original more. It should be called House of 1000 F$%ks w/ myers mask. At least it's better than Resurrection. Oh, one last thing if I got killed and my wife was still alive. I hope if the killer walked in wearing a sheet she would know it wasn't me. I'm only 5'10 and the guy in the movie was no bigger than 6'0 tall and the killer Mane is a freaking giant.

Well talking about the Halloween back story. Did we really need Halloween 6? That was one of the worst back stories ever!!!!!!!!!! <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":angry:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"mad.gif\" /> <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":angry:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"mad.gif\" /> <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":angry:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"mad.gif\" /> I really hope they did the backstory better in this film. Halloween 6 really showed us that we don't need backstories at all. It's much cooler when you can make up your own ideas about how the person came to be the way they are. Not what a bunch of old bags sitting around a big table thinking of something ridiculous way to make some money. It just winds up being a big dump at the box office. I'm not even sure a back story would ever work for someone like Myers. In the end it just doesn't work. It's way more creppy when you don't know. Not knowing is the best way to scare people and to make a great story. It's the unknow that really is what were scared of or people like us dig about these films. You know what they say, "You can take a hillbilly away from he's home but you ccan't take the hillbilly out of a true hillbilly"I know it has no place in a Halloween film or any remake of a classic but Rob is a hillbilly through and through. He just was adding some of he's ideas to the film. It was either going to be a John Carpenter clone or a remake. I would of loved to seen a clone as well.
