But I don't do any of those things, so I can't really answer that question.Just so we're clear, I wasn't bashing you. I'm sure lots of folks could have PMd the info. I'm not telling you how to live, no disrespect meant. I'm just saying all this came from one post of a guy asking for his contact info. Maybe he lost it. Maybe all he had was an paypal email address that no longer works. I thnk it was pretty clear that you were trying to help. I think the blogger meant it was shady of Mike to be hiding out, and to make you transcribe that long rant from the phone call, instead of showing up and taking care of business.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndI never thought you or anyone has bashed me. I just don't want it to start. Everyone knows how things get started and get crazy on this forum. A good example of people speaking when they don't know the facts is this...Mike never made me or asked me to transcribe that long rant. I called him saying..."Yo man, people wanna know what's going on with their items. Let me know something so I can let them know". Then I proceeded to let him know that he's gotta get this stuff out to make things right with people and to have his name cleared. I'm trying to help Mike as well as his buyers. Trying to get the buyers their stuff by getting on Mike and trying to help Mike's name by having him get the stuff out to his buyers as quick as possible. I can't control what Mike does, I can only try to get him a little more motivated. His website was never cancelled and his number was never cancelled. He let his website expire because he wanted me to work on another one for him. Don't think I'm sticking up for Mike but I do know that the main problem is that his personal problems with himself and his family and his uncles death made him get very far behind in his work and what he owed people. That is a BIG difference from "ripping" people off. I've known Mike for only two years. Many of you known him for way longer than me. How was his rep before this stuff started? Was he good with his work and pretty much on time? Did he treat people well? If so, maybe people should look at his past rep and weigh that out with his recent problems and decide if just MAYBE he could have run into a crisis. People have to remember that you wouldn't have any problems like this if you bought from a major retail store. Why? Because if the owner of a retail chain had problems he doesn't have to worry about it. he/she has plenty of staff to take of the business while he/she handles their personal problems. Mask makers, prop makers indie artists etc. don't have that option. They have no one to take care of business for them and get out orders while they take care of their personal/family problems. They have to take on everything on their own. Some people can do just that and there are some people that don't have it inside them to take on so much drama at once or they could crack. So really think hard about if a few things happened to you in your life at once and you ran a one manned business. Probably wouldn't be that easy for it to run well. Especially when you already have orders that have already been paid for and customers are waiting. I know it would drive me nuts. I do think maybe Mike should've contacted people to let them know he was hit with personal issues but that just me. Mike did things different. Maybe he wanted to be more private or hidden from the public until his life calmed down. I dunno. If you're waiting on items from Mike, PM me and all I can do is tell Mike what you want to know and tell you what Mike's reply is hopefully you get your item/s quickly. Anyways, enough of my blabber. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/teehee.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":teehee:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"teehee.gif\" />

Well I’m off. If anyone wants me add anything to the blog regarding this situation you can email me at TheHost666@msn.com. If anything involves a bad transaction please be as detailed as possible, and truthful. To Mike, I know you can read this. I’m sure you have that pit in your stomach right about now, don’t be upset about what went down today. Everyone can understand family and personal problems, and of coarse those come first. But you can’t ignore your obligations to your customers and string them along. I waited 8 months for a mask once, it sucked, but the maker emailed me every week to let me know what was up. I never had to worry or post a thread “Hey what happened to XXXX”, you can’t shut your customers out man. It’s now up to you to turn it all around and make a positive out of a negative, you’ll be stronger man if you do, and people will have a lot more respect for you. I don’t want you to think that I hate you or that I’m just trying to bash you, we don’t need another Cropsy.Peace-TheHost

You can put this on your blog. Here's a story about one of my dealings with Mike.I bought a Part 6 hockey mask from Mike when he came out with his new mold. I sent him at least ten emails on how I wanted it painted and he was very good at keeping in touch with me and being understanding to my requests. After he was done painting it, you guys might remember him posting a thread showing pictures of my mask and it looked great. I was so happy on how it turned out. So now it was time to ship it out. I waited in great excitement for this mask because after seeing pictures of the finished piece I knew I had a really accurate Part 6 Hockey Mask finally. The package came and after I ripped it open and pulled out the mask I wanted to cry right then. It was a different Part 6 than what he showed in the pictures. The color was different along with the markings. I was pissed to say the least. I emailed him asking why he didn't ship me the mask he showed everyone on NIGHTOWL. He said that it "was the same mask" and I was like no way in hell. I knew what kind of game he was playing. Someone had offered him more money for the mask he showed on the site which he said "people were offering him a good amount for that mask but I sent you the one from the pictures." Bullshit!! Then he said that he would "contact the other people who ordered Part 6 hockey masks and see if he mis-shipped the wrong one to them." I was like just forget it and I would never do business with him again.I later got it repainted by JASON7 and Mike got mad, hehe!!

Good points made by all. I think ultimately the bottom line is........this hobby is a tight-knit group. We need to stick together and LOUDLY voice out any wrong doings or wrong-doers. We need to police ourselves and nothing good will come by burying our heads in the sand. If we dont get each others backs who will?.............................Larry

I say if someone is shady in even one deal they should be banned. These classifieds have given us all oppertunties at pieces that would've been hard to come across otherwise. I was a big supporter of the "Good guys to deal with" in peoples signatures but that has now turned misleading as well. One person could have a good experience with a seller and the next person not so much. Let's ban them after one screw up and be done with having to wonder if a guy is gonna do you right or not. This just my opinion but I hope some of you other guys share it.Eddie

that is very true now days Larry . i remember when i first signed up years ago and even though i never had the kind of money to buy these wonderful masks , i still knew that if i ordered something or bought from another member then i would for sure get the item . but these days you really have to watch your back and figure out who to trust because alot of people that you used to be able to call " friends " and think you could trust has gone out the window . don't get me wrong , there are still a good amount of trustworthy people here and on other boards but it's a real shame to hear of so many people running off with others money . man i miss the good ol' days <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"unsure.gif\" /> mike,
