Is candle gel the same concept of those drinking glasses with water inside the sides, giving the illusion that it is full but actually dry? That would work, would be cool to have a jar with that and one that bubbled.

I think this piece is fresh.I remember first seeing part 7 opening day at the local theater and just remember how absolutely bowled over I was seeing Jason in this pose and seeing now, after all this time underwater since the end of Part 6, how he was all decomposed. I thought, "Oh boy, this is a whole new ballgame now. This is a whole new Jason his victims will have to deal with."That scene (captured in this piece from Sideshow) and when he first came out of the water and we get a look at his back were two crowning moments for the Friday franchise.and this piece is the ideal salute to that feeling you got when you first saw this new Jason in that very specific scene. And they captured it perfectly.I stopped collecting "figures" when i went to lifesized props. THIS piece caused me to now make exceptions. Most definitely gotta have this. :-)

The gloves apparently rotted off, or into his skin somehow. They did this all really well. I am looking forward to it.

I am thinking of making my lifesized display into something like this. I might put my part 7 costume on my mannequin, get another 5 foot ghost chain and connect the two, and have it hang down to the ground. I can raise the arms slightly to simulate floating, and I have a Camp Crystal Lake sign to lay down on the floor. I would like to have a decent sized foam rock, but not sure I could find any that size, or be able to make one. Plus I am very limited for room as it is! But just in case, does anyone know of any realistic rocks that big, or where to get them?

Damn, even foam rocks are expensive!I might go with this one:Small Rock. Comes in white, select colors availible too. Please allow two weeks for colors.Size: 19" x 11" x 10" Man is this going to be cool. I will keep researching first however but I think this first site is a great one. Would be nice have some eerie water wallpaper, but I might go with the Friday The 13th type for a backdrop.

This also gives me an idea, place a fluorescent blue light over the top to shine down and give the illusion of being under water. Man my creativity always comes out late in the morning hours. Also maybe use some moss on rock, fake plants etc.The House of Blue Lights. Good golly. You too, just like Miss Molly, can be rocking in the house of blue lights. Or purple. Party Lite bulbs fit standard medium-base light-bulb sockets. These party mood-illuminators are 25W, because the house of blue lights is always kept dimly lit, for the atmosphere. Anyone else ever do all this, or will I be the first? <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />

really nice piece, but i am just not willing to pay that price anymore. In respect to the diorama thing sirbrad...trust me, you are not alone on that. I have collected horror acktion figures for around 10 years now...and i have made many a diorama. I still miss my cenobite lair fish tank. This was way before they ever came out with the lair they offered at spencers. I used really little chain and fish hooks and hung all kind of nasty little latex things in it...then cover the back of the tank and the entire floor with this nasty silicone stuff that i could move and sculpture and let it dry with the figures in there for a bit so they had a built in stand....it was great...but alas...i dropped it during moving and it is no more...Tommy
