Late 70's 80's Horror Movies

Hey guys. I am a huge horror movie fan as all of us probably are, but I highly doubt that I have seen every good horror movie. can you guys recommend some good ones that I might not have seen ? especially late 70's 80's slashers. I am 30 years old and actually just watched a few good ones for the first time like: night of the creeps and near dark. thanks in advance.

You should check out Dead and Buried. FX by Stan Wiston, and a story by Dan O'Bannon. OH, and look for a young Robert Englund pre-freddy hehe. Good flick man, not your usual zombie movie.

Not a whole lot of people seen it Shock'em dead. Its low budget but not bad. Worth checking it out .

Check out Black Christmas (came out in 1974). There's a new special edition DVD out, this movie pre-dates Halloween by 4 years as a slasher type film...However Halloween is of course a much better film!Casey

Try to find The Unseen. The Prowler is also a solid slasher flick with great effects.
