We've been selling Hockey Mask on ebay for almost 2 years. Now, we keep getting our listings removed by Warner Brothers. But, when we list them simply as hockey masks with no reference to jason or Friday the 13th, they aren't pulled up in the search. Has anybody else had this problem? Is there any way around this without violating copyrights?

Yeah, That has just started happening to me in the last few weeks. The only reason this is happening is because someone has reported one of your auctions as an unlicenced items, once that happens all of your ads are permenently flagged so that they will be cancelled as soon as you list a same or similar item. I have been trying to find a way around this for a few weeks now with no luck. please let me know if find a way and I will let you know if I do as well (:

Yup, Larry is right.I can almost guarantee you that someone out there is turning you in. They do this in order to boost their sales and shut down everyone else.I've seen this in the past and figured it would start happening again soon. All of my Hockey Mask sales will be on forums or private from now on.

"hockey horror mask, similar to Jason's mask in Friday the 13th""Fake Hockey mask, influenced by Jason movie character"-------------Those should be good for the searches, and as long as your product listing clearly states that it is fan-made and INSPIRED BY a specific film, or designed to look similar to a specific film, etc. you should be good, unless you're under a timed ban of some sort.Better still.. on the hockey masks, if you get a Frightstuff mask then you can talk COA's and how you repainted stuff.. nothing wrong with buying something and repainting it. I doubt Ebay would have a problem with that.As for dealers telling on each other.. you stand a better chance if you don't belittle someone else's auction. Don't make wild claims, just show the mask, say what it's made of, say who painted it, and move on.. noone see's the rest as anything accept whining anyways, unless you have verifiable facts lol.

My auctions were shut down by Warner Brothers aswellNow I put Jason Robinson Hockey mask as the title, then in my description I put the mask was made by the artist Jason Robinson.... I wonder if the guys who's doing it is the same guy who threaten to turn me in to Alliance Atlantis a couple months back because i made fun of him..?
