I am about 6'1" tall and I would like to add a little height to my Jason costume. Does anyone know where to find boots that look proper for Jason but have a platform sole?

Try vintage resale shops as well.

Bring your boots to a shoe repair place. They can add as many inches as you want.Pat

Just get regular boots that are slightly high, and add your own shoe lifts. That is what I do and it works great. Those thick platform boots look silly for Jason, and should be used for Frankenstein. I got the soft gel ones from eBay, they are adjustable for about up to 3 inches in height I think.

They are all over E-bay dude.I would go with a company called unisex shoes.they are great about communication and they have a lot of different looks. Here are some good ones.Fairly normal looking boot.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=370100153235I plan to use some platforms that I got off a guy at the MM forums plus lifts at HH.They may not be accurate, but to acquire a 6'6" height, it has to be done.I took my recent pics wearing my jungle boots with a 3" heel inside, and I only made it to 6'1"(not enough)you gotta remember that a lot of normal dudes stand about 6'1" or more naturally and if you are like me at a mere 5'10" you gotta get extreme.I do not want anyone towering over me, and I want to at least come close to Dereks height.I should be at least 6'5" or 6'6"with all the increases(3 inch lifts plus 31/4 " platforms).Besides, when pics are taken at these conventions very rarely do your feet get in the pic, so it is really not an issue.
