Hey all... be you a fan of the Twilight saga or not, I noticed that with all the millions of fans out there dying to get their hands on collectibles and other memorabilia related to the series, is anyone interested in doing a high-quality Edward or Bella scale 1:1 bust? I think it would be a good item to market given the current hype around the movies/books. Maybe resin busts or something? My wife saw my 1:1 Freddy Bust and she's been saying, "why hasn't anyone tried to make any busts for Twilight characters?" There might be a lot of money to be made with a good sculpture of Edward and Bella. Any ideas or anyone willing to take on a project like that? I know there are those who roll their eyes at the Twilight hype, but I'd just ask this topic to be related to this idea. Not defending or tearing down the subject matter.Maybe busts that look like this?Edward:Bella:

I would wait for the second film to be released. Then, there would be several major characters that could be made into busts. The interest would/is definitely there, I just wonder if anyone is willing to give it a proper shot.take care,Tommy

I think Kristen Stewart is a doll. If you were to do one of her, I'd prolly pick one up for personal reasons...

Honestly, it wouldn't be a good idea. Though there is a huge market for it, hot topic trash and all of that, how many of those teenage girls would actually have the money to pick one up? Spending $10 on a poster or $20 on a shirt or whatever is nothing compared to what, $150-$200 for a bust? I just don't see them selling well. If you look at who buys busts and masks, you'll see it's guys like us mostly, with a few women in the hobby.

Don't just advertise it on here. Spread out to the Twilight forums and advertise there. I've seen stuff sell on eBay for hundreds of dollars. Imagine the girls who can't afford it running to their parents just begging for them (if they're good). The money would come from other sources, I think, if not from the interested parties.

Myw ife has supported my hobby for years, and has a ton of twilight (My mommy is going to wash my mouth out with soap!), I'd def jump on these if available to add them to her collection.
