Well, I just thought I would tell you all that Acetone will eat your hockey mask! I know, most probably know this but I being an idiot, did not.lol. It's still ok, I just had to sand it. I've found Goof Off (and sandpaper) works fairly well at removing paint on ABS hockey masks however, it will also eat your Hockey Mask if you're not carefull.

acetone eats away any plastic....its strong material it can even eat away your car paint...if you want to take away the paint just sand it off, primer the Hockey Mask and then sand it again so that its smooth....

I just use a medium grit sandpaper first on ABS, then use a fine grit to smooth it out. It takes about 20 minutes of work (by hand), but gives you a lot of control and doesn't destroy the plastic. You can prime it afterwards and then coat it.
