Anyone else pick this up yet? Got it Wednesday and have been having a blast with it. Anyone who grew up with the first 3 MK games will feel the nostalgia imedeately. The Fatalities are a gory as ever and the x-ray mode is great and of course Shao Kahn is a b!tch and a half to beat on any difficulty above easy. I highly reccomend it if your an MK fan or a fan of fighting games in general.

Man I was getting irate trying to beat his hiney in the story mode. They make you fight him with Raiden. It took me over 2 hours to beat him. I had to keep being cheap haha. They also make you fight Goro and Kintaro with Cyber Sub-Zero and Shang Tsung and Quan Chi with Kung Lao. Totally unfair.

OMG tell me about it! Took me an hour to beat Kahn on Story my first time around. I ended up just telepoting behind him and sweep kicking him the entire match to finally win. Cheap but I won! Lol

I picked this up on ps3 as well and love it! I'm to the cyber sub zero on story mode part now, can't wait for the frustration! Haha
I've also gotten to level 152 on the Challenge Tower.
And Sheeva's "Lend a Hand" fatality is awesome!

I'm only on level 40 on the Tower. I did finally beat Ladder with all the characters though. Sucks PSN is down cause I have Kitana's classic costume that need to be downloaded.

I picked it up this weekend. Takes me back to the Mortal Kombat II days. I'm so glad it's gotten back to its roots with the ultra-gory game play, fatalities, and even babalities. I love how they made the Joker's fatality from Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe one of Shang Tsung's fatalities in this game. I was so ticked when I first played MK vs. DCU only to find that they'd edited that fatality to death. This makes up for it. I also really like the fatality training mode for times when you don't feel like fighting and just want to see some bloodshed.

The fatality trainer is a very nice touch. No more days of beating up a motionless player 2 to get a fatality in.
