I agree w/ stain and trav. You don't know how she died, it was consistant with homicide yes but the bottom line is you don't know. What if she was convicted and sat in jail for 30 years and it was an accident or someone else was responsible. Stranger things have happened. It has to be innocent until proven guilty above all else.

What I find supprising is how Bill O'rielly and Mark Fuhrman both feel she should have been convicted. Those two are more intelligent and rational then that. ad:

All I have to say is the little girl was buried in the woods like a family pet animal instead of being buried in a respectful way all humans deserve. That family will live with that forever and everyday must be like hell for them. I have a daughter that looks a great deal like that little girl and is the same age now that she was. I hope that waste of flesh mother will get what she deserves in this life or the next for what happened. Her daughter was discarded like a fart in the wind. She was a beautiful little girl and her smile will be burned into that families mind forever just haunting them. If they manage to not commit suicide in the next few years over the publics opinion of them I will be surprised.

Casey is in PROTECTIVE CUSTODY. A holding cell basically with no other inmates that can get to her. She will be fine. There is NO WAY she would have been SAFE if she was in general population. As high profile as this case WAS - the word would of surely got to someone in the jail - about what she was accused of. That didn't happen BECAUSE she was in protective custody the whole time. This whole case was based on circumstantial evidence - which can be good or bad, depending on how you look at it. I beleive the time frame during which Caylee was missing was HUGE and a key factor in Casey being found NOT GUILTY. You lose sooo much evidence when there is a HUGE timeframe from the actual time Caylee went "missing". As the Judge pronounced (Jury Charge Instructions) to the Jury in this case - If pre-meditation is not found, then she can't be convicted of 1st degree murder. People, the technicalites of our legal system is faaarrrr more complicated than you think. You would be surprised to know the "ins" and outs" of our Justice System.

It's a SAD FACT that in the event of all of this and the LOSS of a child - Casey will be a FILTHY RICH CELEB. I guess it is true from a negative comes a postive - atleast for HER. Oh yeah, she is already planning to adopt a child soon ...

When I started this thread, I wasnt sure how people would respond. I am happy to see that even if we disagree, we All stayed very cool to each other. What a great thing that is, it amazes me when people dont share the same view that it can turn ugly real fast. Glad that didnt happen here.

I have to agree, reluctantly about the fact that the justice system was in line with the verdict. They didn't have enough evidence to prove that Casey killed her daughter, and the jury must have felt that it was better to let her go then live with the possibility that they sent an innocent woman to jail. I also think, however, she should have been punished for not reporting the girls disappearance for an entire month. By the time authorities were notified, all the evidence that possibly could have explained exactly what happened was gone, which comes back to the central issue of lack of evidence. If she did do it, it seems a little out of line to allow her to go free simply because she hid what happened so well? Is that really justice?

She should be forced to have her tubes tied and not be able to adopt ever . She will have to at some point be back out in the real world so I assume somebody will give it a try . But I just don't get how a parent can find one of their children dead and just put them in basiclly a garbage bag and toss them in the woods and go back home to get ready for partying later that night . That's sick , even worse than the Bundy , Gein , and all those others IMO .
