Hi all,
Heres the story, my sister who is 41, but acts like a 16 year old has been talking to a guy on facebook for the past year and a half. She has 2 little boys from another guy, whom she is leaving with my parents for, what she claims is just a week. She will be leaving on a plane Saturday to go meet this man for the first time from Florida to India. He would have come here but was denied his visa, so he sent her money to go there. My parents, family members and I have told her not to go, but she is an adult...so we cant stop her. And from what she says, she is gonna marry him, and hope they can come back to the USA and live. But if that doesnt work, she will get her 2 little boys and live there.
I think shes crazy and am worried what could happen to her. Nothing to do with race or culture, just seems shady to me.

gotta let her do what she wants, she is an adult even if she doesnt act like one. my major concern is for those kids. i would get as much info on him as possible. get him on the phone and talk with him and get as much as you can. get on his facebook also and look at pics and see what type of person he is. do some detective work brother. tough situation. good luck.

Thanks for commenting guys. Mike, my dad and i have done that, dad was the one who talked to him, but u really cant tell from facebook(wich im not on) or a voice.

Just think of it this way ever saw Hostel. There are a lot of sicko\'s in the world and i would be worried about her as well, even though she is a adult i would be considered about her safety. Look at it this way if she was doing meth no one would say she is a adult she can do whatever she wants, no you want to look out for her and get all the help she needs. That was just a example, but i would check that guys background look him up and do whatever you can to get the down low on him.

Cd500, i agree. Really dont have anyway to check on him, he doesnt even really have a home...he(as he tells her) is a traveler. Hell, the computer he uses is some friend of his.

I guess i started this thread cause im worried and just wanted to see if anyone outside of family and close friends would agree with me. There really isnt anything i can do.
