Congratulations! This is NOT recast from Mario\'s Black or Red Se7ens. What you own there is very unique and pulled from a completely different mold of the same screen-used hero Part 7 mask. I have to say, I\'m amazed to see this!

I would post a big comparison with photos and stuff, but I really don\'t have the time. Just trust me, that mask you have is from the same source material, probably taken before Mario Kirner ever bought it. Here\'s why:

Under the mask\'s left eye, right in the rim, you will see a little nick in the plastic. It\'s in the lowest part of the eye hole. This was removed from Mario\'s Black/Red Se7en mold. In addition, the propeller damage is completely untouched and uncovered. Mario\'s mold has one particularly long "point" of this area covered over with clay, causing the point to appear much shorter when blanks from his mold are trimmed.

Seriously, this is fantastic! Unfortunately, that blank of yours looks like it has a few small warps and dents that are not present on the screen-used mask. Perhaps the mold has been mistreated or improperly stored...No idea what caused those marks.

Thanks for pointing that out, to be honest i wouldn\'t know where to start on what you just said on comparing both of them until you just told me.
The guy told me the mold is in pretty bad shape now so maybe that\'s why. I have another one coming in about 2 week painted by him i will post pics of that when it\'s done.

Yeah, that\'s likely it...What it lacks in some places, it definitely makes up for in others. I can\'t wait to see the painted version!!

So since it\'s essentially the same as the Red/ Black 7 (in that it was cast from the hero rather the original mold) I hope you didn\'t overpay. Should that even affect the price?
