Wonte Morde Paint Up!

Got this guy finished today and am pretty happy with the outcome! This is Mike\'s amazing sculpt, FIRST sculpt if anyone didn\'t know, and I had a TON of fun painting him up! I wanted to do this guy some justice, and hope I did! Combination of literally all the different paint techniques I know went into him, from airbrushing to washing, he got the works First time I\'ve tried hand painting an eye, not too unhappy with it. Tried something for his right eye, creating that dead cataract look and it worked pretty well I think! I\'ve decided I am going to add hair to him, have some, just need to decide on a scheme for that, any opinions are welcome!
Thanks again to Mike for letting me get this fantastic piece from him to add to my collection, and have a blast painting!

I love seeing these and what you guys have done with them. Great job on the paint up trav. You did him justice and can\'t wait to see him with a hair do. I really love the eyes, modeling and the juiciness of the brains out the back. Great stuff man.

I will be doing a thread soon, as I have one that I painted, one that Monte Ward painted, one that Monte and I painted (leatherface style), one that Jeremy Bohr painted and am waiting on Justin to paint the one I sent him. He is real busy right now and I understand that. I am just going to wait to post any of them until I get them all here with me.

Thanks everyone, appreciate the compliments! Couple days after, and I\'m still happy with him, a ghood sign LOL Decided on what to do with the hair, gonna try to fit it in this week sometime, but got a lot goin on, lookin forward to it though, should be fun!

I can now wait to see all the Wontes lined up Mike, it\'ll be so cool to see how much a piece can really change from one eye.hand to another!
