The Blob is one of the best remakes period . plus it has Shawnee Smith which is sooooo HOOOOOOTTTTTTTTT . i remember watching her in Summer School and Who's Harry Crumb lol . but yeah it really depends on how the remake movies are made . yeah it can have some good points in it but no matter what they do , it'll never be as good or close to the original . IMO Hollywood is using way too much CGI in thier movies and that's what ruins it for me . i can understand some things may need it like a background that is just impossible but when you can still have an FX company make it then do that as it makes the movie look alot better . CGI is crap and if it doesn't stop with the rate tehy are going then all these great amazing artists that we all know of will be out of a job . mike,
