I bought a nice silicone Christopher Reeve (w/ thick fiberglass endoskeleton & glass eyes) bust from Bob Causey about 4 years ago for around $1500 - I got an offer on it for $2700 so I sold it. Honestly, I do not think that Joker piece is worth more than $3k. A lot of time/materials go into high-end silicone pieces... but Bob is probably capitalizing on the fact that it's a Ledger Joker piece and not many are out there. If you're patient, I guarantee you more affordable Jokers will come out and you can keep most of your Fred collection and be happy.Mike Hill is asking $5k for his silicone Bela Lugosi and while I'm blown away by it and would love to pick it up... I'd only do it if it were $3k or less. I have my limits in this hobby and I'm tired of overpaying for pieces. However, an artist does have the right to ask whatever he/she wants. BTW, I make from $70-$80k/year and buy about $5,000 in masks/busts each year just so you have a perspective on my income and hobby spending.
