I'm all for hand tools- cracks look better when done by a razor I think. It's slow and tedious, but it gives you fine cracks. After that swipe it a few times with very fine grit sand paper and do a wash over it to make it look like dirt/whatever.You can also do the whole 'clearcoat over wet paint' trick and then wash over that when the clearcoat is dry. That causes the paint to sort of separate and create a lot of spiderwebbing. The original Part 4 Hockey Mask had that if you see (very) high resolution photos of it you can see the entire Hockey Mask is full of those spiderweb crack
