I'm a huge Machida fan and I will say he lost this fight 4 rds to 1 imo. Shogun looked to figure him out early and was very successful with the leg and rib kicks. I couldn't believe how out of his element Lyoto looked after the 2nd round. The odds were off for sure b/c so many were underestimating Shogun, but the fact is that he is back and at 100%. Dude is the real deal. With that said, what a BS decision by the judges... the UFC needs to address this and get the system fixed. The argument is that in order to beat the current champ, you have to win decisively. Shogun didn't do enough to take his belt so the judges rewarded Machida for hanging in there. It's a bad argument because if you look back on the Rampage/Forrest fight, it was pretty darn even, yet Forrest (the challenger at the time) came out on top w/ the win. Something is definitely up.
