you know what else is interesting? If these people \'really\' liked you, they wouldn\'t be trying to get a discount or sucking up. They\'d just buy what you make. Discounts are really for like, best friends, promotions, or board member discounts imo. Some guy I don\'t know, never met, and never will meet doesn\'t deserve a discount. You know why?
Because I\'ve been a \'nice guy\' a few times and given people discounts. And uhm,....where are they now? They get thier stuff and split, never seen again. If I\'m lucky I get a \'thanks\' email, but some people never even say that, they get thier stuff and disappear.
And after spending 40 hours on a glove that I sold at a discount, I really would think a \'thanks\' isn\'t asking too much.
Guess I\'m getting bitter, but I\'m actually pretty selective about who I sell to now. I\'d rather know they\'re going to people I know will appreciate them. I kinda like how Mark runs his shop. Friends and board members get one price, everyone else gets the site price.
