Alright, normally I wouldn\'t go to this trouble, but I\'m feeling nostalgic for the old NIGHTOWL so I\'ll shed a little light for you. When you ask other people what you should buy with your money, it tells them a few things about you, most of which is young, and inexperianced. The way you word things goes a long ways on a message board, asking does anyone have this piece, and what do you think of it, would have got you a better response. Or I\'m thinking about buying this piece, what are some thoughts on it before I commit, that would have gone over a lot better too. No one can decide what you should buy but you, if you like a piece buy it, if you have to be convinced to buy a piece you\'ll regret it.
Another part of it is the reputation you\'ve made for yourself, Paul said it best on the first page, if you\'re known as a guy who is always asking what he should buy, then doesnt buy anything, people tire of that quickly. Everyone knows what a decent piece costs, this is not a cheap hobby at all, or one for the faint of wallet, you have to be certain of what you want when you pay up to a few hundred dollars for a piece up front, and then pay with your waiting for it to be made. Don\'t step lightly or fool headed into it, it\'s an investment, not a candy bar.
With age will come more maturity and experiance, we all understand that fact, but keep in mind this is an adult forum, if you are not an adult, you have to carry yourself apropriatly or you\'re not going to be very popular around here. I hope you understand my meaning of this all the way around.
