The masks I got are just all black at Walmart last year, no tan strings. Most of the time it is dark enough, and even in the daytime no one can see my eyes well because of the Hockey Mask. They would need to look in and down real close with a flash light to see my skin. My undermasks push the Hockey Mask out enough to conceal my eyes mostly. But I like the mesh attached to the eyes of the Hockey Mask, it is A LOT less hassle and looks great still. Especially with thin mesh, you can barely see it. It is tougher to see however when the mesh is on your face and the Hockey Mask eyes are further out.

Yeah, I didn't even think about the vision issue with the faceless mask. I've worn those kinds of masks before and it's usually pretty dark inside. In the past, I've had a little trouble seeing with just the hockey mask but not too much trouble.
