Remake of a remake of a remake.... woohoo!While I agree that most remakes are crap, some actually turn out to be quite entertaining like TCM, The Blob, The Thing, My Bloody Valentine, etc.I'm not sure what to think about Child's Play though. I don't really know what could be improved there, aside from the special fx. Chucky has a unique look and I would hope they'd keep it.

Out of all the remakes I'm kinda excited to see this one remade. I loved the orig and they are claiming this will be even darker which is awesome. I honestly think this is a step in the right direction as it needs to get back to its scary roots.

It's not like any of the Child's Play sequels were worth a shine. What would a remake be anyways-- basically another (potentially) cruddy sequel.

I am sure The Weinsteins are thinking about the Burning. I am not sure who all owns rights, but I am sure they own a good part of them.I hope they film it in Western, NY again as well. Love the atmosphere this place has out in the gorges and valleys.
