Well,I just watched the special features on dvd and all though it was cool to see the fx stuff, it was way too short. I think its almost 12 minutes long, woo hoo! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"<_<\" border=\"0\" alt=\"dry.gif\" />

It was nice to see a alternate cut that actually had noticable differences, unlike the majority of the directors cuts/unrated cuts that are out there where they just linger on the gore for 3 more seconds. Features were barebones to say the least. The pakaging was definately sub-par. Still love the movie though. I'm sure they'll have an actual director's cut out around the time part 2 hits theatres. Remember this one never claims to be a directors cut, why do you think there's no commentary? Am I the only one who thought the alternate mask intro scene was better than what was used? BTW are the new DVDs of the originals actually worth getting if I already own them all?

well also in the part 6 , you saw the making of it and the making of the hockey mask which is clear just like wickedbeard thought it was but wasn't sure . i thought that part was really cool and of course i watched the whole movie with commentary and the same with part 4 as i love that stuff . mike,

How about the extras on the blu-ray... like showing how they did all the death scenes? Are those any good and worth paying the extra money for?

Meh...If I wasn't a snob about HD quality I'd say the blu-ray wasn't worth it based only on the features...however it was nice to see the Trick R' Treat BD Live exclusive content.
