Ima gonna be honest.....

EVERYONE makes good hockey masks.....everyone.

But theres the ones that are just the best.....Justin, Cropsy, and Mike....thats just my opinion...

If I want a damn good looking Hockey Mask for a GREAT price.....ill go to Mike.

Allthough I dont have any of his hockey masks, im sure I will in the very near future.

And thats the truth...
If you was to ever see my talkin behind someones back, ill leave the boards forever, because I know ive done one of the terriblest things on the forums that could possibly happen....

Totally agree 100% with what has been said so far. I noticed it alot this past year especially that alot of people are trying to earn this "status" by sucking up to each and every maker, telling them how great their stuff is etc.
Personally I follow the same route as RCuomo. If I don\'t like something you won\'t see my reply at all, but if there is something that I just plain and simply love you will see me being over that thread faster than a hobo on a ham sandwich (remember the Bride and Monster busts? that was one of those threads).

i mean i know who is ass kissign and who really likes my stuff becasue nothign ever gets back to me about certain things as well as the knowledge they seem to have..but so many psot of topics about me and how Im great and this and that..i jsut paint hockey masks the closest i can..IM no god but then the same guys get on other forums and tell that guy the same stuff OR try and be friends with me then get other people to try and start shit with me..

I dont see why people cant like and not like...buy or not buy stuff from me and others..And for the ones talking to me about shayne and justin it isnt wise casue i respect both guys as makers and people i .. Dont ask me about why the waits or prices..Cause jsutin is a nice guy i if i was him i would get pissed and tell some peopel where to go..but im gonna shut up for now and stay in my area so please i know who you are and i know you dont like me so please keep my name outta your mouth

see I find it strange to kiss ass on one board then bad mouth on another. I like a few different people. I like Justins work, I also like Terrys work. I like a few different Hockey Mask makers work. But why bad mouth? If I like Mikes hockey masks that doesn\'t mean I don\'t like Travs hockey masks too, it means I like them both. After a couple years of seeing what people can do, there are a handful of mask and Hockey Mask makers who\'s work I really like. But I don\'t like one above the other. I just like people who make this stuff because they\'re fans of the movies. And you can usually tell pretty quick who\'s making something to try and make a buck, and who\'s making something because they enjoy the films and enjoy what they\'re making.

Why even hang out on a board if you don\'t like the work that\'s produced by the people on that board? That\'s silly to me.

And for the people who say the wait times are too long or the product is too expensive? Fuggim. They\'ve probably never made a damn thing other then brown a$$ sculpture they dropped in the bowl and flushed. If you want damn good high quality stuff, you usually have to wait for it. It\'s part of the hobby. Hardly any of these guys do this stuff full time, it\'s a hobby to them to make things. And if kids/customers/whatever harrases the hell out of the maker, or talks crap about them behind their back. Then one day the makers will get tired of all the BS and stop making whatever it is they make.

And then we\'ll all loose out.

anyway, just my opinion, I don\'t think and hope I don\'t kiss ass. If I like someones work, I tell them I like their work in posts. I don\'t haress them or suck up. It is what it is. I\'ve never owned one of Mikes hockey masks or one of Marks Freds, but I like thier work and say so. (*and I did have a blank TDC at one point, and was damn impressed with the sculpture*)

anyway, kids kiss ass and talk sh\'t. It\'s part of being a kid. I wouldn\'t let it bug ya Mike.

well said bill i own Hockey Mask from j and a Hockey Mask from frank le 8 number 2 just becasue i wanted someoens elses..i plan on gettiin a Hockey Mask ffrom shayne..I make gloves too but i want one from u and a vs from anders..so i dont see why peopel feel they have to take sides..

But i didnt wanan point fingers i was jsut asking for it to stop dotn say u liek my stuff then say u dont and dotn spread crap about me and others..i dont care if u hate me just dont be a ass..And to you guys who mean what u say more power to ya or and bill hit me up i need a glove and i wanna see if your up to it

what\'s really hysterical is that people/kids/customers/whatever think we\'re all competitive when for the most part it\'s really not like that at all. At least from what I\'ve seen.

People write me and say they love my stuff but don\'t like Anders or don\'t like Boogeys. But the irony is, I DO!!!! I love Anders gloves and I love Boogeys gloves, just for different reasons. Anders makes a seriously hardcore heavy duty glove that could seriously put a hurting on somebody. Is it 100% screen accurate? No, but who cares? It\'s a bad ass glove. Same for Boogeys gloves. His gloves are the most perfect looking display pieces you can possibly buy. Are they hardcore? No, they\'re display gloves, you probably couldn\'t hurt a bird with one. But they LOOK badass. I try to make mine somewhere in the middle, they\'re \'real\' but I try to make them look as much like the props as possible, without looking exactly like a Kgear. (*I \'am\' an artist and don\'t want to churn out something that looks exactly like someone elses*)

Are my backplates 100% accurate? Nope. They look like RbR backplates. And I like the fact that someone can look at my gloves and know where it came from.

I\'m sure alot of the Hockey Mask and mask makers are the same way. I talk to Anders and Boogs and C.Granter, (*though not too much lately, I admit.) Why? Cuz all 4 of us love gloves and love to talk about them and all the little details in each one. It\'s not a competition, I refer people to Anders or Boogs all the time depending on what exactly they\'re looking for. In the end I want the person to be as happy as possible with what they recieve, and if I think what they\'re really looking for is an Anders glove, then that\'s where I send em.

We\'re all supposed to be friends and fans, not competitors. I would be absolutely shocked to hear that Mike was talking trash about Trav or something. They both make hockey masks, they both love hockey masks, they\'re both probably friends who talk with each other.

and like Mike said, the bad mouthing ALWAYS gets back to the person who\'s being badmouthed. At the end of the day, all this stuff is just that,....\'stuff.\' And alot of us value friendships more then \'stuff\'

err, kinda got off on a tangent I guess. But I know what you\'re talking about Mike, and it\'s ridiculous.
