its all about the laws of attraction. depending on how you think on a deep deep level, you will attract whatever it is you are thinking. regardless of whether you want it or not.people act small because they believe small; and they believe what they are programmed to believe.

It's a bit of both. Karma can exist to a certain extent. But a lot of it is just chance.

Bear,I wasn't calling you out on a fight or anything. You presented that huge wall of text as your "two cents", which usually (in fact, always) implies that it's your personal, original opinion. Everyone else here has taken their time to type up their honest feelings on the matter, and out of nowhere you post a long-winded speech (which most of is stolen from other sites and carefully mixed with sentences of your own) finished with the most pretentious phrase ever uttered: "Just my two cents....." as if you're presenting some grandiose point to us all. I guess I took it a bit personal, considering. I'm sorry for that. Why didn't you cite quotes or list your sources if you didn't want people to think you'd written it all yourself? You could have even simply said "I agree with this:" and pasted it from the sources. It's just odd, that's all.Cheers,Ryan

Maybe there's some points being missed slightly. I know I am a good person, like others who have the same opinion of themselves, I also feel I've been dealt cards at times that I really didn't deserve. Then you observe the absolute bastard of a person in all their glory getting away with it all the time ,or so it seems.I've come to a conclusion about myself, I shouldn't expect any reward for being a good bloke-if I do I become a phoney! If you're a good person, you will in the long term attract other decent people who will eventually love and appreciate you for what you are, that's a reward in itself. Anyway ,and I know some may not agree with this, I've always felt that a really bad person will get their dues,we all die one day,if you've been a bastard all your life ,come that day, there's nowhere to run.I'm no religious freak, just someone who trusts their own instincts, some would call it spiritual I suppose.

The reward for us "good" people is that we attract others who share the same values and morals. It's this companionship that is our life reward. Good people help others see good deeds, so you are constantly setting an example. This is my hope anyway, that if someone sees me do something as simple as holding a door for them (which they probably wouldn't do for someone, let alone say THANK YOU), maybe 1 out of those 10 doors held, that person would be reminded that polite and courteous people do infact still exist. In turn they might do the same for someone else. The world truly is a $hitty place, but you have to stay positive and spread that positivity, otherwise we'd all go crazy. Your everyday actions are always appreciated guys, I know I should take my own advise sometimes, but don't become synical and bitter. Hate is an ugly disease that gets us nowhere. In the words of my father..."Life is a big $hit sandwich, and everyday you have to take a bite and swallow it down with a smile!"-Words to live by.All the best,Justin
