I love how Jason looks in this movie..........other than that it was pretty lame. I definately wouldn't put it in the Piece of sh*t category like Jason x, FVSJ, or Jason goes to hell, but it definately doesn't measure up to the greats like 3,4,6,7 I agree with alot of you guys. It seemed very rushed. the caracters didn't even have time to develop. It didnt really seem to even have a story ??

I HONESTLY believe, dispite all the "we're doing this for the fans!" nonsense, this was done strictly for the people who call Jason "Freddy Krueger if you get what I mean. Sure they had some nods to the originals, but that doesn't make up for the shit story line...I KNOW the original 4 films weren't Oscar winning screenplays, but they didn't seem pointless or purposeless.

I saw this movie with a packed house on early Friday morning, 12:01 AM. I thought this movie was a lot of fun and it had a lot of ‘tips of the hat’ to the older films. Derek was a great Jason and I really enjoyed the cleverness of the character. The movie was nicely paced and the photography was quite atmospheric. That all said; the only negative aspect was the music. I thought it was way to electronic. The stalking theme was right out of ‘The Hills Have Eyes’ remake. But again, that said…that was the ONLY problem with the movie. It’s a nice relief from the movies that were released after Paramount gave the rights to New Line. (Jason Goes to…, Jason X and Freddy Vs Jason.) Jason is back and it was a fun ride.

Saw it a few hours ago and I thought it was <b>all right</b>.It was way too 'hip'/MTV and cliché, and obviously aimed at a teenage audience. The script was pretty bad, the gore was severely lacking and all those false-scares got a bit annoying.And as said by others, it did not feel like a Friday the 13th movie at all. And I'm not too keen on Jason's look this time around (not a big fan of the hockey mask and I just hate that stupid jacket...).But, with that being said, I did enjoy it a lot for what it was. At least it was better than Jason Takes A Boat.., erm, I mean Manhattan. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":wink:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"wink.gif\" />

I enjoyed the movie. I <i>really </i>enjoyed Julianna Guill as Bree. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":tongue:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"tongue.gif\" /> Exactly what I was expecting. Jason didnt speak as I remember hearingabout when the movie was first coming about. I would have walked outif so! I hope it makes a bunch of money and tops the box office.I remember hearing the Ch Ch Ch a few times besides the intro too.Also, alot of scenes in the trailer are not in the film because when itcomes out on DVD there is supposed to be some bad ass extended cut.I think bloody-disgusting has a story about this?So yeah... I think I might like this one as a whole better than any otherbesides Part 6. Jason still looks a bit scrawny compared to the classicKane Hodder style. I think its the legs?

I just seen TCM with Jason in replace of. No feel of F13 at all, for me anyways. I did however like the hockey mask but that was it.

I ALSO feel the jacket didn't go well with the hockeymask... Looked SWEET with the sack, but for some reason not so good with the hockeymask.I also realized... FUCK IT! It's a movie, and it was fun to watch...
