i think a good method would be to introduce the new mask, take numbers for the run, make them, THEN take payment and you can ship pretty much right after you receive it.

His site says 4-6 weeks however, but it was much faster for me.Joseph...the problem is then the maker will make 10 masks and half of the people who wanted one will not pay...It's been suggested on many forums that makers do a 50% pre-sell then 50% on delivery like our buddy Rich...who I can highly recommend! You might have to wait a while for a piece...BUT...he's in constant contact and the dude truly couldn't be any cooler. There are some guys out here that are real class acts and make this hobby fantastic.

Rich and Justin are the only two I'd feel comfortable buying from at this point. That's not a slam, but in my limited amount of buying, these two guys didn't screw me over, and stay in contact. You hear sob stories about guys who had "personal problems" and "other responsibilities", but in my experience the stand-up guys have more responsibilities than any of these man-children, and THAT is why they protect their rep and deliver on all fronts. Thanks to a couple of vanishing acts, I'm incredibly gun shy regarding ordering from any new dudes. All you honest guys out there - be aware that the bad apples ARE ruining it for you. I can't speak for everyone, but I see a lot of stuff I like that I end up not buying because I'm tired of the cash-dash routine. And as long as these vanishing acts are allowed to pimp their stuff through aliases and "friends" who claim they're the maker, well, it's not going to go away.

Oh yeah, I forgot a few rules to consider if you are going into the mask making business. Mask making is a very dangerous endeavor!A. Your computer will crash so you can't communicate with buyers.B. Your car will break down so you can't ship masks.C. You will have a tragic death in your family and it will mess you up so bad that you can no longer make masks but not so bad as to refund peoples money.D. Someone in your family will get cancer and it will keep you from delivering your masks.E. It is ALWAYS ok to make your problems your customers problems. F. Your customers will understand as they have never had anything bad happen in their lives and they will just feel grateful to know you are their money for other things.Disclaimer:I know that sometimes these things do happen and I am in no way making light of cancer or death. The above comment was posted in a sarcastic way at the liars, cheats and thieves.

Don't forget "You will get the worst flu of your life and be unable to log on and check your e-mails for 10 days although you will be in good enough health to continue posting eBay auctions. Of course you don't need to go to the doctor for medicine, because magically you'll feel 100% as soon as someone threatens to file a Paypal complaint and you'll be able to ship out masks that you owe." I call it the Maskmurderers rule. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" /><!--quoteo(post=243839:date=Nov 1 2007, 01:33 AM:name=Cryptoys.com)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(Cryptoys.com @ Nov 1 2007, 01:33 AM) <a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=243839\"><{POST_SNAPBACK}></a></div><div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecOh yeah, I forgot a few rules to consider if you are going into the mask making business. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" /> This thread has run it's course, and I know you guys don't like when threads are deleted, or moved, or edited, or locked, but the fact is most of the people discussed in these threads can not defend themseves here, for whatever reason. If they decide to defend themselves elsewhere it reflects badly on Justin. Or even worste, when a mask maker, or seven, or ten, does have access and can defend themselves, then that is all our members are reading for the rest of the month. Bottom line is, learn what you can from this messageboard, learn what you can from this thread, and know who you are sending money to. I don't want this to sound wrong, but if I met half of you guys on the street, I would not give you a dollar. with that said... If I could cut off an extremity for every one hundred dollars shayne roberts has stolen from me, there would not be enought extremities to cut off... and joe frank clift is still a scumbag.
