After reading all of yalls comments, It hit me.Its true about how alot of us just like Kane for his makeup.Now that I really get into it, my favorite parts wernt even any of Kanes rolls.I was most impressed with 3 and 4.Kane is jason, like I said, but I was wrong to say that nno other actors were Jason.Hell, Brooker has been my favorite all along. but I guess I just got caught in the ''KANE IS JASON'' theory.

I seriously doubt any of the people in the remake are even capable of acting so it doesn't really matter too much to me.

I agree with Joe, about why people like Kane.A lot of people say "I love Kane, he looked PISSED!" but thats not his job, thats the make up departments job. I am sure if CJ played Jason in part 7, youd all be saying "CJ was amazing!".Though they do all have a different way about them.I would say my favorite Jason is Richard Brooker, his movements are much more realistic and just straight up good for Jason. How childish he was in it too, towards the end, that aspect of him being a loner who never grew up with a mother. Steve Dash is a close second, because he played such a feral Jason, just out in the woods, and very realistic. Then Ted White, he was pissed as Jason if anyone is the be a pissed Jason. The way he crushes the guy in the shower scene, and how he threw the hammer... And then the confused look he had at the end. Ted White was great.I cant picture Kane playing human Jason, far to square and broad. Brooker had the perfect look for Jason. Roy was a bit to robotic though also.

Well I have to admit that you guys got me thinking about the actor vs the look of the actor...I mean, the part VII look is one of my favorites and Kane is behind the mask. I love all the jason looks simple as that, but I am a diehard jason fan.I do not really care about storylines, acting ect.I just want to see jason on the screen doing what he does best....killing all the assholes that cannot act.hahahaha.As far as Kane goes.He will always be my favorite mostly because of his intensity, body language and pure hatred onscreen, and mostly because I resemble him best in costume than the others.lol. If I were going for a second choice, Brooker would be it.

I'm a Kane fan myself and I enjoy his portrayal as Jason however I think if they're gonna remake a movie, they might as well have new actor for the part so you don't have the same thing over and over again. I mean if they wanted Kane back why not just make this another sequel rather than a remake? As DarkArtist81 said every actor has brought something special to Jason that made him unique in each movie so I personally think Derek Mears will do fine and will add his own unique style.
