Follow your heart bro, we all get items we feel we dont want to part with, im doing that now, but if you want something bad enough as we all know sometimes sacrifices have to be made, and that peice is just sick, id swear heath died of a beheading not an overdose, its almost scary that someone can bring this piece to the table, i cant stop looking at it, i just seen the movie the first time sunday, and what a great flick, ledger is a legend in my books after that performance, i dont care what that piece costs, it worth it, and like you said the price is going to go up when its no longer available, there are enough fred fans that if you want your stuff back you will be able to eventually get them again, but this piece is going to be rare and a hard find soon!!! I say jump all over it bro!!! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

Go for the Joker, it look's like you cut of Ledger's head with his Joker make up, that's how accurate the bust is ! And it's great for any Joker/Ledger fan.

I love everything about that Joker bust except his expression. Everything else about it is perfect except for that. I just don't feel that it's an expression that captures the essense of the character ya know? Personally I'd hold onto the collection and see what else pops up over time.

For some reason, the unpainted sculpture looks just like Heath but the final product just doesn't look like him to me. Bob's is by far the best one that I've found, in my opinion.

I think that Joker looks amazing, but 5K is ridiculous! There is nothing about the piece that should cost remotely that much. Why don't you see if you can get a blank cast in latex and have another artist finish it up for you? Even if you sold all that Freddy stuff, one of your lungs and probably your car...you might not even have enough for it. I'm of the mindset that once the DVD drops in December, you will see a lot more artists attempting the TDK Joker. I would wait it out a little bit, but if you want it bad enough I guess there's no reason to tell you otherwise. I just think paying 5K for a piece of silicone with some paint and hair is WAAAYYYY too much. My Jeep Cherokee only cost me 3K and I've put thousands of miles on it. How much are you really going to get out of that bust? Also...often times a lot of these higher end pieces don't resell for what the originally cost so if some day you need money or you just get sick of looking at it...you're generally screwed.Just playing <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/devil.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"devil.gif\" /> 's advocate here.

I say keep the freddy stuff. theres more fun in collecting lots of different stuff, from lots of films. there so many variable freddy items to collect.Tones of masks sweaters gloves from all of the films. to sell a long time of collecting, searching, bardering, just to sell for 1 item. not me..Theres 8 Freddy films, only 2 jokers.I dont see how you can raise $4500 selling those couple items. i own all of those that you have and it doesnt add up to that amount. i'd have to sell alot more to raise that money. $4500 is crazy for 1 bust.Remember too even if you did go through sell everything and buy this guy. Can you make your money back re-selling it. most poeple dont like to spend $300. let alone $4500 thats how i see it.good luck with your decition.

I agree with you Stretch, but...it comes down to a question of economics. If I make 20,000 a year and spend 5K on a bust...that's more than 1/4 of my yearly income (after taxes). If that 20K is disposable income then this is a much different scenario. I don't know anyone's financial situation - nor do I want to try and guess about it or preach, but there's no way that that thing is worth that much. If it was a life-size full body statue with a rigid endo skeleton then it might be worth it. If he ran a museum and could charge people to look at it...it might be worth it.The final decision rests with you dude. I wouldn't let other people on a forum sway you either way, but you asked for opinions for some reason. Do what you feel like man...I mean...it's only money.
