My opinion is that once you are a hero in the eyes of children, it takes away the right to act like this. Imagine if when you were a boy and Christopher Reeves was Superman in your eyes, you heard him treat someone like this. We run into situations all the time where someone deserves to be put in their place, but most of us manage to do it in a way that is constructive and does not bring the situation to a boiling point. Maybe I am ignorant, but that has been my experience with the creatures known as humanoids.
