tobey wore something of a hard muscle scuplted suit under the spidey suit for SM2 because he had to start filming right after he did Seabuiscut so he only had a few months to get in shape for SM2 and i guess the filmmakers thought it wasn\'t enough , so they made some suit for him to go underneath the spidey one .

Thats a pretty cool spidey outfit. I was going to try and get one for this Halloween just to see the look on my nephews faces and some other kids too), I\'ve even been working out for over a year. Too bad all the really good ones are so expensive. I guess I\'ll be waiting a little longer.

Sorry to correct anyone, but I have photos of what the Spidey suit from the movie looks like underneath (they were published in a behind the scenes book) and both Tobey and the Stuntmen wore a sculpted foam undersuit which had muscles. The suit wasn\'t airbrushed, but it is actually the brick pattern that is screened onto the lycra that helps show off and emphasize contour and definition. There is also an oval shaped piece that goes inside the mask to retain a perfectly rounded shape and doesn\'t distort the mask over the actors facial features. Hope this helps. I\'m a huge Spidey fan myself, but I\'d buy Trooper armor at that price before a Spidey Costume!

There was a muscle suit, AND the lycra was airbrushed with muscle shading. I have done an insane amount of research into this suit. It also has a silk screened brick pattern all over the entire suit. Anyone have any other questions about the Spidey suit, I would be glad to answer them. I talked alot with Kirsten Dunst about the Spidey Suit.
